Auburn Tigers Target Tracker: Oct. 11 edition

It’s always fun to follow the future by keeping tabs on the success of Auburn football commitments in the fall. But this season, we’re also tracking key Tiger targets. Each week, we’ll highlight some performances of offered prospects, flip targets and other recruits of note.

Here are this week’s notable performances …

Tigers Target Tracker …

*2023 Edge Rueben Bain, Miami (Fla.) Central: Central beat Miami (Fla.) Northwestern 42-7. Bain recorded 2.5 sacks. That gives him 11.5 tackles for loss and 11 sacks this season. He visited Auburn two weekends ago.

*2023 TE Jelani Thurman, Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes: In a 59-0 win over Dallas (Ga.) East Paulding, Thurman had five catches for 51 yards and one touchdown. That gives him 16 receptions for 223 yards and five touchdowns on the season.

*2023, Joshua Horton, Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes: In a 59-0 win over Dallas (Ga.) East Paulding, the Auburn target recorded 11 total tackles and two sacks.

*2023 CB Edwin Joseph, Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep: At last check, Joseph had 22 catches for 368 yards to go along with 12 tackles, 3 pass breakups and 1 interception this season.

*2023 LB Lewis Carter, Tampa Catholic: In a 37-0 win over Winter Haven (Fla.), the Oklahoma commit recorded 12 total tackles and a sack. He now has 47 tackles on the season. Carter has not visited Auburn since June.

*2023 CB Colton Hood, McDonough (Ga.) Eagles Landing Christian Academy. In a 48-23 win over Redan (Ga.), Hood returned an interception 55 yards for a touchdown.

Now, for some underclassmen Auburn targets …

*2024 RB J’Marion Burnette, Andalusia (Ala.): In a 49-0 win over Slocomb (Ala.), Burnette rushed for 129 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries. That gives him 910 rushing yards this season while averaging 9.8 yards a carry.

*2024 QB Air Noland, Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes: In a 59-0 win over Dallas (Ga.) East Paulding, Noland was 20-of-25 passing for 291 yards and 3 touchdowns. For the season, he is 96 of 138 for 1,772 yards, 25 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.

*2024 WR Cameron Coleman, Phenix City (Ala.) Central: The touted junior, who claims an Auburn offer, has 18 receptions for 357 yards and five touchdowns this season.

*2026 WR Malachi Toney, Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage: In a 42-18 win over Davie (Fla.) Western, Toney recorded four catches for 90 yards and one touchdown. That gives him 19 receptions for 360 yards and seven touchdowns this season.
