Florida commits set up for another busy week under the lights

After a solid performance all around during the first full week of High School Football, the Florida Gators’ 2023 class gets back in action on Friday. As the UF commits take the field, the coaching staff will be around making stops as the evaluation period has kicked off.

The schedule for this weekend

  • On Thursday, Eustis and three-star commit Tyree Patterson were shut out by Lake Minneola, 42-0. 
  • Lakewood High School and four-star EDGE commit Isaiah Nixon take on Palm Beach Central.
  • Four-star Gators receiver commit Aidan Mizell looks to bounce back from a tweaked knee against Evans. 
  • As for four-star safety Jordan Castell, West Orange faces Apopka in a game to watch this week. 
  • Four-star defensive lineman Kelby Collins and 1-1 Gardendale take on 1-1 Mortimer Jordan.
  • As for Buchholz, four-star defensive end Gavin Hill and three-star athlete Creed Whittemore travel down to Sarasota Riverview on Friday. 
  • Gators’ linebacker commit Jaden Robinson and his Columbia team take on 2-0 Union County.
  • Four-star defensive back commit Ja’Keem Jackson and Osceola host Seminole in what should be a heated matchup.
  • UF commit T.J Searcy looks to lead his 0-2 Upson Lee to a win against 2-0 Worth County.
  • 0-1 Olympia takes Oak Ridge as four-star defensive line commit Kam James takes the field.
  • Florida running back commit Treyaun Webb and Trinity Christian Academy look to capitalize on a strong start to the season when they take on Raines on Friday.
  • Four-star defensive back Sharif Denson and Bartram Trail take on Seabreeze.
  • Gators’ quarterback commit Marcus Stokes and Nease look to bounce back from a rough week one against Creekside.
  • Heading down to Miami, Northwestern takes on the Jackson Generals as four-star Gators commit Andy Jean suits up for the Bulls.
  • The Trinity Christian Lions and Gators’ defensive back commit Aaron Gates take on Mary Persons.
  • 1-0 Rockledge faces off against 1-0 Doral Academy as three-star offensive lineman commit Bryce Lovett takes the field.

Two Saturday games

  • Four-star defensive tackle commit Will Norman and St. Frances Academy travel to Texas to take on Desoto High School.  
  • IMG Academy and UF offensive line commit Knijeah Harris travel to Missouri to take on De Smet Jesuit.
