Florida-Florida State game moved to Friday
The Florida Gators’ annual game against Florida State in Tallahassee, Fla., is not going to be on Saturday in 2026. The rivalry matchup has been moved from Saturday, Nov. 28 to Friday, Nov. 27, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced Monday. The kickoff time is not yet known and will be revealed at a later date.
Per a UF release, “the game will mark the first regular-season, Friday contest for the Gators since they played the Seminoles on the day after Thanksgiving in 2022.” That game also took place in Tallahassee. FSU won 45-38.
For the Seminoles, this will be one of three Friday games in 2026.
The Gators lead the all-time series with the Seminoles 39-28-2. UF owns a two-game winning streak vs. FSU and beat the ‘Noles 40-21 last Nov. 29 in The Swamp. In games played in Tallahassee, Florida holds a 15-14-1 edge.
