Back in the Polls! Florida State football's win over Alabama puts Seminoles at No. 14 in AP poll, No. 19 in Coaches Poll

(UPDATED: 9/2 2 p.m. ET) Message sent by Florida State football, message received by the pollsters.

The Seminoles cracked the Top 20 in both major polls, with their Week 2 Associated Press Top 25 ranking leading the way. FSU stands at No. 14 in the AP poll while its first opponent, Alabama, dropped down 13 spots to No. 21.

Florida State climbed 28 spots to land at No. 19 in the Coaches Poll Top 25. Alabama dropped to 20th. In the Coaches Poll, the Seminoles are the fourth-highest ranked team in the ACC, behind No. 7 Miami, No. 8 Clemson and No. 16 SMU.
