The Florida State football staff secured a commitment for the future Tuesday afternoon with the addition of four-star 2026 athlete Efrem White.

White, a standout from Vero Beach, visited Florida State multiple times this year, and he said the Seminoles’ coaching staff made a great impression on him each time.

“I love the environment and energy they bring,” White told Warchant on Tuesday afternoon. “The facility is great, and so are the fans. But most of all, I really respect and love how the coaching staff runs everything. They really make it feel like I’m home when I’m there, and I love the way they treat academics to better the players off the field.”

Florida State wide receivers coach Ron Dugans has played a big part in White’s recruitment and was one of the coaches the four-star prospect thanked in his commitment post.

“Well, he’s a very good person in general. He really treats his players like they’re his own children,” White said. “And he makes me feel like FSU is something I’ll wanna be a part of.”

And the Seminoles’ coaches made it clear to the Vero Beach star how fired up they were about his early commitment.

“They were very excited,” White said. “When I heard the way they were talking … it really sounded like they loved that I made this decision.”

White, who is listed at 6-foot-3 on his On3 bio, has yet to be told how he would fit into Florida State’s offense, but wide receiver seems likely.

And after watching the Seminoles go 13-0 this season, he can’t wait to come on board.

“They were a great team and very great from the games I’ve been to,” White said. “I see improvement every time, and I love to see that.”

This is the Seminoles’ third commitment in the 2026 class, and puts them at second in the On3 Team Industry rankings, behind only USC.
