Florida State today is hosting its first group of unofficial recruiting visitors since the January Junior Days, now that the NCAA recruiting calendar has opened back up.

Because the Seminoles like to tie these spring visits to football practices and the spring game, so that the recruits can see Mike Norvell and his staff in action, there will not be a huge group of visitors this weekend. Those larger groups will be coming later this month and in April.

Despite that, there is still plenty of four-star and five-star talent expected on campus today, and here’s a look at some of the top prospects scheduled to arrive.

Five-Star WR Kaliq Lockett:

Lockett will be making his first trip to Tallahassee this weekend, and only his second trip ever to the state of Florida. According to the On3 Industry Ranking, Lockett is the 12th-best wide receiver in the 2025 class, as well as the second-best wide receiver and fourth-best prospect in the state of Texas.

Lockett received a visit from Florida State wide receivers coach Ron Dugans at Sachse High School earlier this year, prompting his visit. The five-star is very close with the former Seminole star and assistant coach, and he called Florida State one of the more “consistent” schools in his recruitment.

The talented wideout also is very intrigued by Norvell’s offense.

Five-Star DL Justus Terry (Georgia Commit)

Terry has been committed to Georgia for over a year, as he committed to the Bulldogs in January 2023. His visit to Florida State has been planned for some time; he actually told Warchant he would be making his way to Tallahassee back in January.

According to the On3 Industry Ranking, Terry is the eighth-best player in the 2025 class, as well as the second-best defensive lineman in the country.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Florida State has some catching up to do with the 6-foot-5, 275-pound prospect. Georgia still leads with a 68.2% chance to land his talents, and Florida State is not even listed as a top contender. However, a good visit could go a long way here.

Four-Star DL Kevin Wynn

Kevin Wynn was a frequent visitor to Tallahassee in 2023, making his way to two games at Doak Campbell Stadium early in the season. The Seminoles also were listed in Wynn’s top schools in February.

After one of his many visits to Florida State in October, the four-star defensive lineman told the media the Seminoles were “at the top of his recruitment,” and it does not seem like much has changed since.

“Really, it’s the coaches,” he said. “But also the team. And also my dad is a big Florida State fan. FSU has always been at the top for me. They were my first offer, my first contact, and they have always been first in everything.”

Here is a list of the visitors expected to be on Florida State’s campus today.
