WHAT’S UP TODAY

First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?

Plenty of football team analysis. It starts with our rankings and breakdowns of the top 10 players on offense and defense, giving insight into the high end level of play on both sides of the ball. We also rank your top 15 newcomers with insight into how impactful they can be for this team.

There’s also our continuing analysis of the top 50 roster players, giving insight onto this team’s talent level and depth. Check out our closer look at No. 43, 42 and 41.

In recruiting news? That coverage includes our closer look at Miami’s under-the-radar 2025 targets. Be sure to check that out.

Also don’t miss the coach’s take with recent commit  Takaylen “TK” Muex. What does he bring to the table for the Canes?

Mirabal also visited Milton (Ga.) Cambridge three-star 2025 guard Gabe Smith, who has an OV set and the Canes in his top 2.

Palm Beach (Fla.) Palm Beach Central four-star Miami receiver pledge Waden Charles also has an update on the site. He has been adamant about his commitment to the Hurricanes, but as summer official visits approach the Canes are facing competition for the No. 322 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking.

There’s also an update you don’t want to miss with Douglasville (Ga.) Douglas County On300 quarterback DJ Bordeaux. He is emerging as one of Miami’s priority targets in next year’s class.

We catch up with Park Ridge (Ill.) Maine South 2027 quarterback Jameson Purcell as well. His recruitment is still getting off the ground, but Miami ensured itself a place at the table for the fast-rising gunslinger.

Plus we have an update with Orlando (Fla.) Lake Highland Prep three-star offensive tackle Jaden Wilkerson, who believes a commitment could be coming sooner than later. Miami is one of his top contenders.

In hoops news we had your Miami commitment from Kiree Huie. So don’t miss that.

There also was Miami’s baseball series with Pittsburgh, so check out those game wrapups.

And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY

Secondary worries … Posted by Midwestcane

Obviously the coaches know more than I do…

Heading into the off season felt we needed at least 1 stud cb and another depth cb at least…got a depth cb

Needed a stud safety and maybe another depth safety…got a starter

The secondary just doesn’t seem near good enough for us to get where we could be headed…

I guess time will tell

MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

“I’m very interested. They’re one of the schools I’m official visiting for a reason. I think I could see myself playing there. We’ll see where the official visit takes me. First of all, it’s very close to home. I wouldn’t be too far from Orlando. And secondly it’s all of the coaches. Communication is very key to me, and I feel like I’ve been having a lot of that with all of the coaches.”
