Michigan Wolverines football hosted a handful of recruits this past weekend, including five official visitors, to cap off what has been a huge month of June.

Here’s a look at the top social media sights and sounds from the weekend.

Four-star WR Gatlin Bair, Burley (Idaho) Senior

The highest-rated recruit on Michigan’s campus this weekend is set to take a two-year mission, so while he’s a 2024 prospect he will really begin playing college football in 2026. Still, the nation’s No. 40 wide receiver per the On3 Industry Ranking is a top priority for the Maize and Blue.

Gatlin Bair brought his family along and took pictures inside The Big House. He spent a great deal of time with wide receivers coach Ron Bellamy, sophomore tight end Colston Loveland, another Idaho native, and sophomore offensive lineman Andrew Gentry, who took a two-year Mormon mission himself before enrolling at Michigan.

Having run a 10.15-second 100-meter dash, Bair is one of the fastest recruits in history. Pictured below, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh took him over to the U-M track, where iconic runner Jesse Owens, with Ohio State at the time, set four world records in 1935.

Michigan leads for Bair, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), with a 71.9-percent chance to land him. Boise State is considered the other top contender. He will head there for a visit later this summer.

Four-star S Zaquan Patterson, Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna

Zaquan Patterson was in for an unofficial visit, and posed in Michigan’s all-maize uniforms, that have been used in just one game in history — 2017 against Florida. It’s become a favorite combination for recruits. Shown below, he spent time with his high school teammate and 2025 Michigan cornerback commit Chris Ewald and safeties coach / special teams coordinator Jay Harbaugh.

Patterson, the No. 72 overall player in the nation per the On3 Industry Ranking, is projected by the RPM to go to Miami (93.3 percent), but the Wolverines are second at 1.8 percent.
