Five new On3 PREDICTIONS for Michigan to land top recruits!!!! | #GoBlue

The Wolverine’s EJ Holland logged five new On3 Predictions in favor of Michigan following the win over Ohio State last weekend, including one for four-star 2025 Palatine (Ill.) High EDGE Jaylen Williams.

Watch Holland break down every pick in the video above.

Williams recruitment

Williams notched an offer from Michigan in late April and made an unofficial visit to Ann Arbor for the BBQ at The Big House this summer. Williams returned to U-M for The Game this weekend.

Michigan is in a strong position early on in his process and currently sits in first on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine with a 97.1 percent chance of landing him following Holland’s prediction on Saturday night.

Here is what Holland had to say about his recruitment:

“(Williams) had a great time on campus,” Holland said. “He has a great relationship with Michigan defensive line coach Mike Elston as well as pass rush specialist Dylan Roney. I know he’s listed as a defensive lineman, but Michigan likes him as a bigger EDGE, and he can definitely get after the quarterback as he showed me in-game this fall.”

Along with Michigan, Williams holds offers from Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Nebraska, Tennessee, Texas A&M, USC, Wisconsin and others.

At 6-foot-6, 280 pounds, Williams is ranked as the No. 25 defensive lineman and No. 241 overall prospect nationally, per the On3 Industry Ranking. He is also ranked as the No. 6 overall recruit in the state of Illinois for next cycle.

While On3 lists Williams as a defensive lineman, Michigan is recruiting him as a bigger EDGE in the same mold as Aidan Hutchinson and Mike Morris. Williams plays with his hand in the dirt and also stands up for his high school team.

Michigan has three verbal commitments in its 2025 recruiting class in Top 100 Miami (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna defensive back Chris Ewald, On300 Fort Myers (Fla.) Bishop Verot quarterback Carter Smith and four-star Howell (Mich.) High defensive lineman Bobby Kanka. The class is currently ranked No. 10 nationally and No. 3 in the Big Ten, per the On3 Industry team recruiting rankings.
