Wolverine TV: Breaking down new Michigan EDGE commit Dominic Nichols
Michigan landed a commitment from four-star Ijamsville (Md.) Oakdale EDGE Dominic Nichols on Sunday afternoon.
The 6-foot-5, 240-pounder picked Michigan over offers from Clemson, Georgia, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Wisconsin and others.

Both staffer Dylan Roney and defensive coordinator Jesse Minter pushed and earned Nichols’ pledge a couple of weeks after his official visit.
Nichols is ranked as the No. 25 EDGE and No. 380 overall recruit nationally, per the On3 Industry Ranking. He is also ranked as the No. 11 overall prospect in the state of Maryland.

The class entered the day ranked No. 5 nationally in the On3 Industry Ranking and No. 2 in the Big Ten behind Ohio State.
