National signing day is officially here.

Several Michigan commits are set to put pen to paper and officially become Wolverines. Chicago (Ill.) Brother Rice defensive lineman Roderick Pierce submitted his National Letter of Intent this morning and is ready to be in Ann Arbor.

The Wolverine recruiting analyst Zach Libby caught up with Pierce to discuss signing with U-M, his relationship with the coaching staff, two fall visits, and more.

Watch the exclusive Q&A below.

Pierce committed to Michigan over offers from Illinois, Texas, Kentucky, Michigan State, Auburn, and Missouri.

Pierce has an On3 NIL Valuation of $9.8K with 4,700 combined followers on Instagram and Twitter. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

At 6-foot-3 and 290 pounds, Pierce is ranked as the No. 61 defensive lineman and No. 581 overall prospect nationally, per the On3 Consensus. He is also ranked as the No. 11 overall prospect in the state of Illinois.

Rounding out the 22-man class are On300 wide receiver Karmello English, On300 EDGE Enow Etta, On300 offensive tackle Evan Link, On300 linebacker Semaj Bridgeman, On300 running back Cole Cabana, On300 offensive lineman Nathan Efobi, consensus four-star offensive lineman Amir Herring, four-star tight end Deakon Tonielli, three-star wide receivers Semaj Morgan and Fredrick Moore, three-star defensive linemen Brooks Bahr and Roderick Pierce, three-star linebacker Hayden Moore, three-star running back Benjamin Hall, three-star cornerbacks D’Juan Waller Jr. and Cameron Calhoun, three-star linebacker Breeon Ishmail, three-star athlete Jason Hewlett Jr., three-star EDGE Aymeric Koumba, three-star athlete Kendrick Bell, three-star tight end Zack Marshall, and three-star kicker Adam Samaha.
