Miller Recruitment

Miller released a Top 8 of Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Penn State, Rutgers, Syracuse, West Virginia and Wisconsin last month.

While most schools on the list like Miller as a cornerback, Michigan is actually recruiting the versatile athlete on the offensive side of the ball as a wide receiver. U-M hosted him for an unofficial visit back in March and made a strong first impression.

“It was great visit,” Miller said. “I definitely liked the practice. It was great seeing the guys bonding and correcting each other for their faults. Another thing that stood out was the wide receiver meeting. Everyone was giving each other great feedback. It was cool to see how a team of that caliber works together.”

Miller is planning to make a return visit to Michigan at some point this fall.

At 5-foot-10, 165 pounds, Miller is ranked as the No. 28 cornerback and No. 296 overall prospect in the country, per the On3 Industry Rankings. He is also ranked as the No. 9 overall recruit in the state of New Jersey for next cycle.

Penn State currently has the lead for Miller on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine with a 68.2 percent chance of landing him. Michigan is in second place with a 10.8 percent chance of landing him.

Michigan currently has three commitments in its 2025 recruiting class — Top 100 Miami (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna defensive back Chris Ewald, four-star Howell (Mich.) High defensive lineman Bobby Kanka and three-star Buford (Ga.) High linebacker Mantrez Walker. The class is ranked No. 7 nationally, per the On3 Industry team recruiting rankings.
