The Wolverine’s EJ Holland discussed several Michigan recruiting topics on the Wednesday edition of The Wolverine Live recruiting show, including the recruitment of On300 Austin (Texas) Vandegrift offensive lineman Blake Frazier.

Watch and listen to Holland share the latest on U-M recruiting below.

Frazier made a multi-day visit to Michigan last month and is trending towards the Wolverines. In fact, the On3 Prediction Machine gives Michigan a 95.8 percent chance of landing the talented Texan.

Holland listed Frazier as a potential commit candidate during the show.

“Let’s go with Blake Frazier, an On300 offensive lineman and legacy recruit” Holland said. “He is the son of Steve Frazier, who snapped for the legendary Tom Brady. I think Michigan really, really trending in the right direction for Frazier. I put in a prediction way back in the fall. I feel very confident about where the Wolverines stand with Frazier. He’s been very pro-Michigan on social media. Obviously, he just released his Top 5. I think Michigan is the team to beat.

“He really loved his multi-day visit to Michigan last month, so I think Frazier, who doesn’t really have a true timeline, could jump onboard and be a leader, especially with offensive line spots going fast.”

At 6-foot-5, 270 pounds, Frazier is ranked as the No. 25 offensive tackle and No. 347 overall prospect nationally, per the On3 Industry Ranking. He is also ranked as the No. 56 overall recruit in the state of Texas.

Frazier has an On3 NIL Valuation of $34K with 4.3K followers across all platforms. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Michigan has 10 commits in its 2024 recruiting class — Top 100 Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day quarterback Jadyn Davis, Top 100 Cincinnati (Ohio) Moeller running back Jordan Marshall, On300 Harper Woods (Mich.) High defensive back Jacob Oden, On300 Nashville (Tenn.) Ensworth linebacker Mason Curtis, On300 Bellevue (Wash.) High tight end Hogan Hansen, four-star Avon (Ohio) High offensive lineman Luke Hamilton, three-star Cincinnati (Ohio) St. Xavier defensive lineman Ted Hammond, three-star Wallingford (Conn.) Choate Rosemary Hall defensive lineman Manuel Beigel, three-star Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward offensive lineman Ben Roebuck and three-star South Park (Pa.) High linebacker Zach Ludwig.

The class is currently ranked No. 5 nationally in the On3 industry rankings and No. 2 in the Big Ten behind Ohio State.
