On Tuesday, the Oregon athletic department announced its 2023 Hall of Fame Class.

UO’s 32nd Hall of Fame class featured six inductees.

“The 2023 Hall of Fame class includes six true legends from the history of Oregon Athletics,” UO athletic director Rob Mullens said. “They all have incredible legacies, and their prolific accomplishments made a significant positive impact on the University of Oregon. We are excited to recognize each of them with our highest athletic honor.”

Oregon’s 2023 Half of Fame inductees are as follows.

LaMichael James (football) — LaMichael James became the first unanimous first-team All-American in school history in 2010 and led the Ducks to the 2011 BCS National Championship Game. Bruce Mortenson (cross country, track and field)— In 1964, Bruce Mortenson became the first Oregon athlete in school history to win the national championship in the steeplechase. A two-time All-American, he was a member of the 1964 and 1965 Oregon men’s track and field national championship teams.
