Purdue 2026 DL commit Jamarcus Whyce flips to Maryland
He was a Louisville Cardinals, then he was a Purdue Boilermaker, now he’s a Maryland Terrapin, as three-star Trotwood-Madison (Ohio) defensive lineman Jamarcus Whyce flipped from Purdue to Maryland on Signing Day.
Earlier in the day, Purdue flipped three-star North Hardin (Ky.) defensive lineman Josiah Hope from Louisville.
Win some, lose some.
With Whyce out of the mix, Purdue still signed a nice group of defensive linemen today: Josiah Hope, Katrell Webb, Kobe Cherry, Aiden Solecki and Max Carmicle.
Purdue signed 21 players, featuring 10 on the offensive side of the ball and 11 on defense.
