Gamecock basketball lands Coastal transfer

Lamont Paris has landed another piece of his first South Carolina basketball team. The Gamecocks picked up a commitment from Coastal Carolina transfer Ebrima Dibba on Wednesday, according to a report from On3.com’s Jamie Shaw.

The native of Sweden averaged 8.1 points, 5.4 assists, and 4.8 rebounds per game during the 2021-2022 season while shooting 80 percent from the free throw line.

Dibba joins former Ohio State Buckeye Meechie Johnson and Citadel transfer Hayden Brown as additions to the Gamecocks team from the portal.
