In this episode, Bobby and Justin discuss:

  1. Bobby and Justin continue the Texas Football Spring series preview with the defensive line and EDGE positions. After losing Moro Ojomo and Keondre Coburn on the defensive interior, the Horns return Byron Murphy, Alfred Collins, T’Vondre Sweat and Vernon Broughton. With four-star freshman Sydir Mitchell already on campus, the 6-foot-5, 350-pounder might push for early minutes in the d-line rotation. At EDGE, Texas returns Barryn Sorrell, Justice Finkley, and Ethan Burke to a position that only lost Ovie Oghoufo to transfer to LSU. The starter will ultimately come down to production, stopping the run, and getting to the passer, something the Texas defense sorely needs in 2023.
  2. Bobby and Justin look at the Longhorns’ 2024 de-commit, Aledo (Texas) Jaden Allen, and how this affects UT’s Class of 2024. Allen was verbally pledged to Texas for over two years until announcing his departure on Saturday. Allen’s older brother, BJ Allen, is currently a redshirt freshman safety at Texas, but has had a difficult time cracking the two-deep in his first season on the Forty Acres.
