  • Justin and Bobby ask who is Texas’ second-leading rusher. Justin quickly remarks Cedric Baxter and his size, strength, and speed. The freshman from Florida could be in-line for goal line carries in 2023.
  • A name that we haven’t heard much about? Bobby mentions Jalen Catalon after hearing about his vocal leadership during Tuesday night’s practice. Catalon plays 100 MPH with reckless abandon. Justin and Bobby shift to the offensive line and the latest from the large humans up front. Justin notes the cohesiveness and team play is the biggest takeaway, with depth at each position. DJ Campbell locking down right guard, Cole Hutson playing three spots potentially, and Neto Umeozulu‘s progress are all noteworthy in this regard.
  • Justin asks Bobby is only question on the defensive front. Bobby mentions Ethan Burke at the Buck spot and how the Horns need to get to the quarterback in 2023.
  • Justin and Bobby finish with Texas toughest opponent in the Big 12 in 2023. Justin mentions Oklahoma, TCU, and Texas Tech as schools to watch, but picks 2022 Big 12 champion Kansas State. The Wildcats lose a lot of guys to the NFL, notably Deuce Vaughn, but never underestimate Chris Klieman.
