In this episode, Justin, Bobby, and Gerry discuss…

  • Justin, Bobby, and Gerry start with 2024 Houston (Texas) Langham Creek three-star Jordan Washington who is set to announce on July 4th, with Texas looking good there as well. Jeff Banks has set the Horns up nicely with Alabama and Texas A&M in the mix. Next up they discuss Lancaster (Texas) On3 four-star safety Corian Gipson, and while he doesn’t have a decision date, we’re hearing that recruitment could be wrapping up soon.
  • Justin, Bobby, and Gerry hit on Orlando (Fla.) Jones defensive lineman D’antre Robinson, who is announcing his commitment on July 21st. Texas and Florida are setting the pace with the Sunshine State product. They discuss Aeryn Hampton and Wardell Mack next, who both took official visits to Austin in June. Hampton is set to announce on July 7th, while Mack’s timetable is still undetermined.

  • Justin, Bobby, and Gerry move to IMG Academy where Texas holds two commits, Jerrick Gibson and Jordon Johnson-Rubell, and are on Jayden Jackson and and TJ Lindsey. The Horns have been fantastic at the private institution in Bradenton, Fla. Justin shifts to safeties, Myles Davis and Joshua Lair, where UT is holding serve with both. Davis wants to announce on August 25th, with Texas and Texas A&M be the top contenders.
  • The guys wrap up the show on On3’s No. 1 EDGE in the 2024 cycle, Duncanville (Texas) five-star Colin Simmons. Texas and the staff continue to look great in this recruitment, with LSU, Alabama, Oregon, SMU, and others still in pursuit. The IT guys think this decision could happen before the end of the summer, if not sooner.
