Only 247Sports has a remaining update. Until that service completes its final rankings , here’s where Texas currently stands.

Texas’ No. 3-ranked 2023 signing class includes five-star prospects Arch Manning, Anthony Hill, Cedric Baxter Jr., and Johntay Cook. All four are early enrollees and are already participating in winter workouts with Texas strength and conditioning coach Torre Becton.

The total of four five-star prospects is the second-highest number of super-blue prospects in one class, just behind Alabama’s No. 1 overall class.

Manning, a New Orleans (La.) Isidore Newman product, is the No. 1 overall player in the On3 Consensus and a Five-Star Plus+ prospect. Five-Star Plus+ prospects are rated as five-stars by all four major recruiting services.

Hill, a one-time Texas A&M commit from Denton (Texas) Ryan, finished as the No. 16 prospect in the On3 Consensus. Hill is the On3 Consensus’ No. 2 linebacker and the No. 4 prospect from Texas.

Baxter, who hails from Orlando (Fla.) Edgewater, is the top running back in the On3 Consensus and the No. 6 player from Florida.

Cook, a DeSoto (Texas) product and member of the Eagles’ 2022 UIL 6A Div. II state championship team, finishes as the No. 31 overall prospect in the On3 Consensus and the top-ranked offensive signee for the Longhorns from the state of Texas.

In addition, one remaining unsigned prospect the Longhorns are in pursuit of also joined the five-star ranks. Phoenix (Ariz.) Pinnacle tight end Duce Robinson, the No. 1 tight end and top player in Arizona, achieved five-star status. Georgia, USC, and Oregon are the other top contenders for Robinson’s signature.

Oklahoma and USC currently trail Texas in five-star commits or signees with three apiece. Behind the Sooners and Trojans with two are Georgia and Miami (Fla.). Teams who signed one five-star prospect according to the On3 Consensus are Ohio State, LSU, Oregon, Clemson, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Florida State, Colorado, Ole Miss, and UCLA.

Notre Dame is the only top-10 team in the On3 Consensus Team Rankings currently without a five-star prospect.

Texas added two five-star prospects from the high school ranks in 2022 in Arlington (Texas) Bowie offensive lineman DJ Campbell and Humble (Texas) Summer Creek offensive lineman Kelvin Banks. Denton (Texas) Ryan athlete Ja’Tavion Sanders was the only 2021 signee to earn five-star status.
