In the leadup to the first national signing day, which this year falls on December 20, various head and assistant coaches travel across the country to make in-home visits with top prospects.

Sometimes the visits are opportunities for coaches and commits to connect one more time before the recruit puts pen to paper.

Sometimes this is the last opportunity for a program to put its best sales pitch forward not just to a blue-chipper but to his entire family as well.

Steve Sarkisian and company have traveled across the country representing the Longhorns in living rooms. Here’s a rundown of Sarkisian and other assistants making in-home appearances that have made it to social media. More will be added as they become available.

Colin Simmons

Ahead of Duncanville’s battle for a second consecutive state championship, Sarkisian, Jeff Banks, and Pete Kwiatkowski stopped by the home of the On3 Industry Ranking’s No. 9 overall prospect for an in-home visit.

Jerrick Gibson

Sarkisian and Tashard Choice ventured to Florida to meet with the No. 83 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking.

Santana Wilson

Sarkisian and defensive backs coach Terry Joseph visited Wilson, the son of former All-Pro and current Carolina Panthers vice president of personnel Adrian Wilson, in Scottsdale at Desert Mountain high school.

D’antre Robinson

The 6-foot-3.5, 315-pound Robinson welcomed Sarkisian and defensive tackles coach Bo Davis in Orlando on December 11. Robinson is rated as the No. 265 overall prospect in the nation.

Zina Umeozulu

Sarkisian and Kwiatkowski made a familiar stop at the Umeozulu home, where Sark traveled to recruit Zina’s older brother Neto.

Freddie Dubose Jr.

Ahead of the state championships, Sarkisian and Chris Jackson stopped by San Antonio to see Dubose before he goes ring chasing. Smithson Valley plays Aledo in the 5A Division I state championship on Friday at 7 p.m.

Christian Clark

Sarkisian and Choice saw a lot of the country when traveling between Florida and Arizona to see Gibson and Clark.

Parker Livingstone

Jackson and Sarkisian made it to the Metroplex to check in on Livingstone last week. Livingstone is the No. 325 overall prospect in the nation.

Alex January

It’s rare for a head coach and several assistants to meet with two members of the same high school defensive line, but Sarkisian, Davis, and Kwiatkowski all did so when they met with January in recent days. Alex is the son of former football letterman Michael January. Davis joined the visit as well.
