Chandler foul

Can some of y’all stop complaining? 1. Even if it was a flop, Chandler still can’t fully extend his arms like that in front of the refs. They are going to call that almost everytime. And 2. We should have never been in that position to begin with. There was no reason for this game to be as close as it was.

#2 is the thing for me. Refs aren’t the reason we lost this game

Never should’ve been in that position but to act like this didn’t have a direct outcome on the game is just wrong.

Yep, and Mark is certainly not helping himself with this fanbase by saying it’s the reason we lost and they cheated us. You were up 9 against a team who had missed 18 of their last 20 FG’s at the time. ZERO REASON to lose this game

Auburn defender had both his hands on Chandler from the moment the ball was given to the in bounds player. Was a toal flop call by the coach. Another Pearl little B

I guess in a way it cancels out. Kentucky got jobbed by the call, but gave up 3 shot attempts, and garrison didnt box out. If he boxes out they win.

Don’t care. Chandler is the one who extended his arms in front of the refs and gave them every reason to call that. It was a boneheaded move.

2 things can be true it wasn’t a foul and it’s not the reason we lost.

1. Yes Chandler can’t extend his arms. The defender also can’t wrap both arms around the offensive player which occurred before the push off. The refs made the choice to ignore to hold and call the push off. Therefore they made the active choice to call the reaction to being fouled rather than the original foul. So yes they actively affected the outcome of the game in a one point game with 14 seconds left. 2. Yes we should have had a better lead at that point and made more point blank layups and fast break shots which we missed all night. Unfortunately that did not happen but we were still up 1 with the ball with 14 seconds left. UK had about a 70% chance to win the game prior to that call and that flipped because of the refs choice to ignore one foul and instead call a different foul. So no matter what happened before that, the refs had a direct effect on the outcome of the game. End of story.

Anyone remember the charge call on Ramel Bradley in the SEC tournament on the inbounds?

I usually agree. But in BGs defense on that play, the dude that took the initial shot had fallen on the floor and was between his legs. It was just a really awkward possession.

Absolutely no one should say uk didn’t get screwed. Up 3 with 13 seconds and lose with the ball in the hands of their best free throw shooter . you can blame the rest of game as much as you want but up 1 with 14 sec and ball in your best free throw shooter and you never get another shot at the rim is criminal.

Should have never blew a 9 point lead to a terrible team. With that being said, refs need to be held accountable, just like every other high paid profession. I don’t think we lost due to the refs, but they certainly ruin the flow of games because they call the game different every 5-10 minutes. Beginning of games is as physical as football and by the end of the game they call touch fouls.

If a win or loss comes down to a ref’s decision. You should’ve been up in the first place no excuses you were up 9 dam points idc who the ref is you win the game. Should never come down to the ref and if a coach blames a ref he’s a bad coach

Chandler was held. Auburn's player was pulling Chandler towards him, and then the guy let go and flopped. Chandler's arms were extended because he was being held in an embrace before the guy decided to go for an Oscar instead of play basketball. It's stupid to say it didn't decide the game.

IDGAF. Not blaming the refs but they are absolute ass. SEC officials are horrible and hate UK.

The defense was the one that hugged Chandler in front of the ref giving them every reason to call. It was boneheaded. Except, they didnt call it.
