Fired for cause?

not to be dramatic, but if indeed SP and Cohen accepted the NIT bid without players' buy in, and now we're gonna have to play basically all backups, then that should be a fireable offense. They're doing real damage to the brand.

Disagree. The players do not schedule the games.

AU Basketball must spectacularly crash and burn so AU Football may again rise to greatness. It's all coming to plan.

I'm confused. I thought we weren't supposed to be at the mercy of prima donnas and they should shut up and play, since they get paid now. Is that only with coaches we like and players we hate?

Couldn’t agree more. This is my theory. For one to truly rise we must sacrifice the other.

That ain’t the current environment.

this is dumb. There are schools that prioritize money sports. Not shiit on one to prop up the other.

As much as we hate it, the system is what it is. These guys are essentially employees. If your boss signed you up to speak at some 3rd rate industry conference in Wichita, without asking you first, you'd prob be pissed and want to quit.

What? We are hosting the tournament with extra revenue coming in. That’s a win for cohen or you know what I mean, the 2nd best case scenario

not if we runnin' Blake Mikshake at PG and the water boy at power forward and lose in the first round in front of 1200 people and an ESPN audience. That's permanent brand damage.

Stephen told the team to sleep on it but then was like make a decision in 30 mins. That seems like everyone said yes, especially hosting to commit
