The director’s cup is the best measurement for that. We have finished 6th, 3rd, and 6th the last three years

I would trade 3 years of upper mid year success for 40 natties but that is just me.

I don’t think you understand the difference in colors. I’m sure you swell up with pride over a rowing championship the program you cheer for won

For national championships in Olympic sports? Stanford has never won a national title in football, 1 basketball title in 1942 and a baseball title in 1988

i'm sure I've been to more Tennessee games and you've ever suited up for so I feel good with where I'm at. It's funny how you focus on one school versus the other big-time programs showing up. My point is, I would like Tennessee showing up in the national championship picture more. Sorry, I hurt your feelings.

Tennessee has 7 since 2000. Tennessee also has fewer sports than a lot of those schools. What's your point in all this?

If you go beyond 2000, Tennessee has 24 national titles. That ranks 7th all time among SEC schools.

Stanford has at least 4 more sports than we offer.

My point is someone keeps calling or marketing ourselves as the everything school, and that picture just says something differently. I like being considered an everything school and being good at everything, I just wish we had more national championships to show for it.

Yeah I know what your point is....you don't like Danny White. I would love a natty in everything as well, but there are 200+ division 1 programs and Tennessee is in the top 50 all-time in team titles. Since 2021, Tennessee athletics has been consistently a top 5 athletic department.

Actually, I do like Danny White a lot. I never even heard of something like the everything school until recently and then someone else posted it with this picture which, again, according to the stats there are a lot of other schools (the big schools including SEC schools) that have a lot better performance with championships than we do. Regardless, I'm a Tennessee fan, always will be, just wish I could buy more championship T-shirts to annoy my Georgia and Alabama friends.

I love basing every argument in sports off championships...noone gives af about the 13 gymnastic and swimming titles florida and stanford have won.
