He was the head coach at Southern Miss from 2013-15, earning Conference USA Coach of the Year honors before leaving for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator job ahead of the 2016 season.

He was good there, obviously. Not saying he would or wouldn't be here — just saying it's not accurate to say he hasn't been a head coach before

I would imagine Bryce would have some interest in playing for the guy who was the OC for Lamar Jackson’s best season.

Yeah I agree, I mean he’s 59, just feels like a stop gap. Life long coordinator. I’d rather roll the dice and see if we get the next Dan Lanning.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic but he took that team from being winless before he got there to 9-5 and coach of the year in Conference USA. Obviously he doesn't have extensive HC experience but he is a well respected offensive coach in both college and the NFL.
