Funny thing about his style his if your team is winning he’s blasting to listen to and if they’re losing it absolutely sucks to listen to…..Hes’s an icon of the game either way…..

during the broadcast Vitale said actually 47 years since he was on the mike for an NCAAT game

Bruce did color commentary for CBS and TNT during regular season....but in the studio for the NCAAT....I think Candace Parker will be doing some color commentary for the games this year instead of studio

Dicky V was brutal last night. He just rambled about whatever coherent basketball thought he had. Barkley wasnt much better but hard to pay attention to the game when Dick is rambling like he was. It was probably the worst broadcast I have heard of a NCAA tourney game. I think Barkley is better on the desk but would have been cool to see his analysis in-game. Drew

I’m glad they gave Vitale the chance because he’s an icon in college hoops broadcasting. They needed him to play the role Raferty does where he is there for some enthusiasm but Grant Hill is the actual color commentator. Chuck is definitely a studio guy not a broadcast guy, but hard to judge much from last night.

They let him do whatever and it ruined the watching experience. Drew

Dick Vitale seems like a decent human being and is an icon in college basketball. But he really brings nothing to a broadcast except for promoting his favorite program, Duke. For a minute there, I thought Cameron Boozer was on one of those teams. I think he got mentioned by Vitale more than the players who were actually on the floor. Smh

I am real glad I was at the ACC Champ game because I heard that is all he did during the title game. He needs to retire like Corso. Drew

It was a tough listen for sure. Per usual, V spent a big portion of the game slobbering over Duke and the ACC.
