Does anyone else think with the 2:30 start time Mateer has a better chance of playing than if the game was at 11 am? Those precious few hours could make all the difference in the recovery process.

That all but guarantees Mateer will be ready.

We all know the game doesn’t actually kickoff at 2:30. It’s usually the Nissan Pregame at 2:30 so kickoff isn’t until 2:40. An extra 10 minutes is big in this scenario.
