Evans was a massive bust based upon financial investment. I get it was a panic buy, but my goodness.
That said, if he goes elsewhere next season and pulls a Cade Tyson by finding his touch away from Chapel Hill…whew boy…

I think the biggest failure is Evans. Hard to blame it on Dixon. Evans right now has no game: can’t shoot, dribble, attack, play D, or function.

If you took the best quality from each guard on this team and put them into one player, you'd get 75% of a Wayne Ellington. Just unacceptably bad guards for a program like UNC.

Biggest denominator is the players we recruit/choose and style of offense and defense. Louisville and even Syracuse may have a field day on us.
