Quinn Ellis Intel (March 18)

Talk is heating up with Kentucky and Quinn Ellis, sources tell KSR+. While there are still some hurdles that Ellis will need to clear to be eligible, Kentucky is showing serious interest. Still working to confirm a Zoom call between Kentucky and Ellis, but have been told that it may have already occurred. There has been talk of Louisville being a serious player here with an offer in the range of $3.5 million. I just don’t get what makes this guy worth $4 million. For our starting PG, we need as close to a sure thing as we can get and this guy just isn’t that imo.

I have also heard the $4M number as the likely landing spot in this one. He won’t be cheap, but that’s the going rate.

I don’t even care how much he needs to get paid. Pay the best players the most and do not pay a bench role guy anywhere close like this year. Money isn’t an issue anymore with Pope here right?

How does a guy that averages 8ppg in the LBA & Euroleague command 3.5 million dollars??? This is why they Pope needs a GM.
