My hate was even. I know because I found myself rooting for MSU and my justification was, well it’s the Big Ten.

I was wanting Sparty to win. Wanted 5 BIG teams in the elite 8. Makes the conference look even stronger when Purdue wins it all.

Been rooting for the conference teams. As much as I don't like most of them, it is pretty easy to dislike their opponents too.

I have been also. If we win tomorrow night, that will change in the UM game though. Go Tennessee. Purdue and Iowa is enough for the final four for me.

Stupid UConn. They made me root for MSU which is digusting. Now they are making me root for Duke. I hate them for what they’ve made me do.

I don't understand wanting other Big 10 teams to win. No positives for Purdue in having other Big 10 fanbases converge on Indianapolis.

This is a valid point. But at this point you’re getting UM or UT, Illinois or Iowa anyway. It’s not going to be 90% Purdue people.

Even in ealier rounds I'm not going to celebrate B10 teams winning. Illinois vs Iowa is what it is. I'll be rooting for Iowa. Other than that give me Tenn and idc who comes out of the East.

I mean some of the alternatives were Rick Pitino, Tom Izzo, and Nate Oats lol. The only one I was sad about was Iowa State, especially with the Jefferson injury.

I’m guessing this is a case of selective reading. I’m sure other teams get piled on for stuff like this, but obviously fans are going to be more focused on things said about their own team, and it’s easier to come across/notice things said about your own team than it is anyone else’s.
