Don’t forget an injunction can still take place from the Mississippi courts. There’s also time for an appeal as well. This isn’t the last of it. Of course the NcAA has to make this more difficult than it is.🤞

He will sue and likely win... Just a long process.

Yep, expect it to be announced very soon by Mars. Also, hate it for Trinidad who is on a PLANE home and finds out

There are 6 and 7 year guys all over. I don’t get it. We live in a world where Beck got a 7th year, TJ Finley is petitioning to play for his 6th team in 7 years, Pavia playing literally forever, and Trinidad gets denied when he legit lost an entire year to injury? 20 years ago I would understand, now, with all the grey area and 6 and 7 year guys, that’s bs. Appeal, sue, whatever. Go ahead and enroll in class Trinidad, let Mars do his thing

As I’ve said all along, They were always pessimistic that it would be granted the first time around. They are well prepared for this and have plans in place. But again, the uncertainty this causes is only a negative and isn’t fair for the program or Trinidad. The NCAA has never been a friend of Ole Miss’ and never will be.

Another person said it in another thread but did the NCAA have much of a choice? You approve it and then everyone will be asking. If it gets overruled in court then that’s the other thing

The last sentence sums it up. The NCAA lives to fuck over Ole Miss

I hate to claim bias, and sound like a victim, but the NCAA has always had it against Ole Miss for some reason

Sure you would know. Guess it goes public shortly. There is appeals and all but it’s hard to understand what hasn’t been filed or submitted already that’s relevant. Hope we not solely relying on a filing in a Mississippi Circuit or Federal District court in Oxford and hoping to play lawyer ball with the NCAA.

The NCAA knows that an injunction is probably coming next. I don’t know why they would rather let the court decide it to “wipe their hands clean” when this is a legitimate medical redshirt issue. It’s not a precedent decision like Vandy’s QB last year when they claim that attending a junior college shouldn’t count towards your eligibility. This was a simple medical issue, which is covered under a medical hardship. The NCAA is a complete joke. Always has been and always will be. That’s why it’s better for the game for them to not be covered by the anti trust laws anymore. They are as corrupt of an organization as there is anywhere.

I never expected the NCAA to give a favorable ruling and when I said that the hiring of Mars was a sign that Chambliss people did not expected a favorable ruling I was told that was crazy talk. But you do not go out and hire Mars unless you think you are going to NEED him.

Ye of little faith my child… Mr Mars will prevail if Trinidad and family wish to pursue that avenue through the courts. Time is of the essence.

Is an injunction enough to allow him to play next year? How quickly can "this" make it through the courts?

No chance to NCAA would rule in our favor on an appeal. They just don't like Ole Miss. Got to go to court ASAP. That assumes Trinidad even wants to go to court. He may have had enough and just go ahead and file for the draft

Unless this playoff run vastly improved his draft status (2nd round or better) Why would him and his family hire Mars pay him the money and then say you know what forget it I am not going to court
