I think back to the BYU scrimmage. It seemed like a lot of people were surprised by how well the Huskers played vs that top team. Guess that was an early clue. Lot of fun watching these guys win and have fun along the way! GBR

Was talking about that with my boys in group chat...Garcia gave them massive minutes down the stretch. He's far more athletic than I realized. This team has real quality depth.

Yes he was a nice surprise today. Very athletic. I said it a few weeks ago, but I thought Oogie was going to be the gem of the portal dudes. Outside of Sanfort it’s really been the core guys (counting Lawrence) that have been the studs this year.

Truth. But, that was a team effort all around. We never flinched. That may be the best performance I've seen out of a Husker team (in any sport) in the last 10-20 years. GBFR!!!!

Not quite - top 15. Still have concerns about the athleticism and holding up on the glass. We were fortunate that Sandfort was hot early because outside of his shooting and Jamarcus we looked tentative. Huge win and love this team but legit top 10 teams like Mich St will be a nightmare for this group. we are a basketball/volleyball schoo!

Yawn. Heard the same thing about the last two games. You don't have to put qualifiers on the good stuff Nebraska does. "We were fortunate". It's basketball. Nebraska was better today. Period. Nothing lucky or fortunate about it. Stop discounting them. Illinois was fortunate they have about 4 dudes who look like lurch who kept them in the game. Maybe try that one next time.

i hadn’t watched Illini so had little opinion about today. They were more athletic but Underwood doesn’t impress me. Nebraska was the much better team after the break. I have watched MSU. Still not sure how they lost to Duke. They seemed like the better team even though their shooting from range is terrible, and that is coming from someone that actually enjoys Duke basketball not hater.

Nebraska will lose games this year, but they haven’t yet. Enjoy the ride.

It's important to note that I don't think we trailed after the first 5 points. That's a wall to wall win. No lead changes etc. That speaks VOLUMES on good this team is and played. On the road....think about that.
