The primetime lineup is compelling, as well. There’s two high-stakes games under the lights — Texas A&M faces LSU in Death Valley at 7:30 PM ET, renewing a rivalry that always seemingly always delivers.
Meanwhile, Tennessee travels to Kentucky for a clash that could have major implications for the Vols. With several impressive teams on the road and multiple games carrying Playoff weight, Week 9 promises to be one of the more dramatic weekends yet for a conference full of them thus far in 2025.
As it stands at the moment in the latest AP Top 25 Poll, the Aggies lead the way at No. 4, followed closely by the Rebels and the Crimson Tide at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively. Georgia and LSU round out the top ten at No. 9 and No. 10, with Tennessee (No. 11), Oklahoma (No. 14), Missouri (No. 16), Vanderbilt (No. 17) and Texas (No. 21) also in the mix. Mississippi State is outside the Top 25, but they are receiving votes.
