Week 3 will feature four matchups between two SEC teams. During Week 2, SEC play kicked off with No. 20 Ole Miss defeating Kentucky 30-23 in Lexington.

This includes ranked matchups of Georgia vs. Tennessee and Florida vs. LSU, which already had their television designations and kickoff times.

That matchup will be in Tuscaloosa and serves as the only matchup between the SEC and another power conference opponent this week. Texas A&M faces off against Notre Dame on Saturday night, who isn’t tied down to a conference.

For Arkansas and Ole Miss, this matchup will be between two former SEC West foes. Ole Miss has won the last two matchups including five of the last seven games. Throughout this rivalry, these teams have put on some of the most exciting matchups of the season. This includes several one-score finishes over the last decade.

South Carolina and Vanderbilt, meanwhile, are two former SEC East foes have played 34 times in the past, including annually since 1992. South Carolina leads the all-time series 30-4 overall, including 16 consecutive victories over the Commodores.

Vanderbilt won in 1998 and 1999, as well as in 2007 and 2008. Otherwise, South Carolina has won every other matchup. Vanderbilt came close in 2021, but ultimately lost 21-20.

For Alabama and Wisconsin, it’ll be the second time in two seasons these two programs match up. Alabama won last year’s meeting in Madison 42-10 during Kalen DeBoer’s first season as Crimson Tide head coach.

Alabama leads the series 2-1 all-time and have won the last two matchups. The last time Wisconsin beat Alabama was in 1928 in Madison. The Badgers have never played in Bryant-Denny Stadium.
