After another week of college football it’s time to update the top 25 wide receiver rankings again, taking into account the latest performances from some of the top wide receivers around the country. And there were some good ones.

Five of the top 10 players in our wide receiver rankings recorded multiple touchdown catches last weekend, led by LSU‘s Malik Nabers.

So how did that performance by Nabers, as well as dozens of other impressive performances by receivers around the country, impact the rankings this week? Let’s dive in and find out.

1. Marvin Harrison Jr., Ohio State

The Ohio State standout had one of his quieter outings in a win over Minnesota, logging just three catches for 30 yards and a touchdown. But it was the seventh straight game in which Harrison has recorded a touchdown catch, a remarkable run of consistency.

The talented wideout is still garnering Heisman Trophy interest, thanks to his outstanding numbers and his even more impressive raw ability. Harrison has racked up 62 catches for 1,093 yards and 13 touchdowns. He’s also added a rushing score.

2. Malik Nabers, LSU

Nabers went for more than 100 yards for the fourth straight week in a row in a win over Georgia State. It was his eighth 100-yard game of the season. Nabers finished the game with eight catches for 140 yards and two touchdowns. He has scored multiple touchdowns in four games now this season.

The LSU standout has been leading the nation in receiving for quite some time and has shown no signs of slowing down whatsoever. Nabers now has 80 catches for 1,424 yards and 12 touchdowns.

3. Rome Odunze, Washington

Odunze might have put together his most impressive game yet considering Saturday’s game against Oregon State was played in a deluge that made catching the football extremely difficult. Still, the top Washington target managed to catch seven passes for 106 yards and two touchdowns.

Odunze’s two scores marked the fourth time this season he had caught multiple touchdown passes in a game. He’s been remarkably consistent this season, with seven 100-yard games to his name. Odunze now has 66 catches for 1,206 yards and 11 touchdowns. He’s also run for one touchdown.

4. Luther Burden III, Missouri

After having four straight games without a 100-yard outing, Burden finally got back over the 100-yard mark in a win over Florida. He recorded nine catches for 158 yards, his highest yardage total of the 2023 season so far.

Burden has been a volume receiver for much of the year, including a stretch where he logged double-digit catches in three straight games. On the season he now has 77 catches for 1,142 yards and eight touchdowns.

5. Keon Coleman, Florida State

Coleman just became significantly more important for Florida State given the season-ending injury to quarterback Jordan Travis. The Seminoles will need him to help ease the transition to backup Tate Rodemaker. Coleman did just that in the win over North Alabama on Saturday, recording three catches for 53 yards and a touchdown.

He’ll need to be even more productive down the stretch if Florida State hopes to maintain its shot at the College Football Playoff and Coleman wants to maintain his spot in these wide receiver rankings. On the season Coleman has recorded 45 catches for 615 yards and 11 touchdowns.

6. Troy Franklin, Oregon

Another player who’s been remarkably consistent this season, Franklin is coming off one of his best outings of the season. He hauled in eight passes for 128 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Arizona State. It was his fourth multi-touchdown game and seventh 100-yard outing.

In one of the nation’s most potent passing attacks, Franklin will have a chance to continue putting up numbers on the big stage as Oregon seeks a College Football Playoff berth. So far he’s got 68 catches for 1,221 yards and 13 touchdowns.

7. Malik Washington, Virginia

Arguably the most underrated receiver in the country (and maybe even in these wide receiver rankings), Washington has been a machine who just churns out production every single week. This week he turned in eight catches for 112 yards and two touchdowns against Duke.

So far this season Washington has logged nine 100-yard games, including the last six straight. He has four games with double-digit catches. In total, Washington has recorded 96 catches for 1,311 yards and nine touchdowns.

8. Xavier Legette, South Carolina

Legette had a big day in a win over Kentucky, scoring the team’s only two touchdowns in the contest. It was the third time this season that Legette has had multiple touchdowns in the same game. He finished with six catches for 94 yards and two touchdowns.

The production for Legette this season has been evenly spread and consistent, with Legette recording at least five catches in all but two games this season. He now has totaled 65 catches for 1,187 yards and seven touchdowns.

9. Brian Thomas, LSU

Thomas just keeps scoring touchdowns, one of the nation’s best at finding paydirt. In a game against Georgia State he logged four catches for 103 yard and a touchdown. It was his eighth game finding the end zone for the LSU offense this year.

Thomas does have the luxury of working alongside Nabers, which helps both of them avoid more double-teams than they would otherwise see. Thomas has made the most of it, racking up 55 catches for 1,021 yards and a nation-best 14 touchdowns.

10. Xavier Worthy, Texas

Worthy hasn’t found the end zone nearly as often as some of the others on this wide receiver rankings list, and that continued once again on Saturday. He finished with four catches for 77 yards in a game against Iowa State, but he failed to score a touchdown. Worthy’s last touchdown came on Oct. 21.

Still, the talented Texas wideout can make the highlight-reel play at seemingly any moment, and he has flashed that ability routinely throughout the season. Worthy has 63 catches for 834 yards and four touchdowns on the season.
