A busy rivalry weekend provided fuel for some fascinating discussions on who the best player at each position is, and we update our weekly wide receiver rankings accordingly.

There were some monster performances, as four of our top five wide receivers recorded a touchdown on Saturday, with two of them scoring multiple times. That led to the top end of the ranking holding mostly in place.

So who helped themselves in last week’s action when it comes to the wide receiver rankings? Let’s take a look inside.

1. Marvin Harrison Jr., Ohio State

The top wide receiver in the country, Harrison once again showed why he’s deserving of that title in The Game against Michigan. He logged five catches for 118 yards and a touchdown in the loss. It was his eighth straight game with a receiving touchdown.

His 14 receiving touchdowns are tied for second in the country, while Harrison ranks ninth in receiving. He has tallied 67 catches for 1,211 yards and the 14 touchdowns through 12 regular-season games.

2. Malik Nabers, LSU

Nabers continues to dazzle every single week in LSU’s high-flying offense, and that was true yet again in the finale against Texas A&M. Nabers hauled in six catches for 122 yards and two touchdowns. It was his fifth game this season with multiple touchdown catches.

Nabers still leads the nation in receiving, while he’s tied for second nationally in receiving touchdowns. On the season Nabers has logged 86 catches for 1,546 yards and 14 touchdowns, some absolutely elite production.

3. Rome Odunze, Washington

Speaking of elite production, Odunze just continues to show up on a week-in, week-out basis. Like Nabers, he recorded two touchdown catches in the regular season finale. Like Nabers, that was the fifth time this season he’s logged multiple touchdown catches, going for seven catches for 120 yards and two touchdowns.

Odunze will still be playing this weekend, too, set to participate in the Pac-12 Championship Game this weekend against Oregon. Odunze has hauled in 73 catches for 1,326 yards with 13 touchdowns.

4. Luther Burden III, Missouri

Missouri’s star wideout continued his quieter second half to the season on Saturday, hauling in six passes for 55 yards. It was the fifth time in the last six games that Burden had been limited to under 100 yards receiving.

Still, the overall numbers for the season are quite good thanks to Burden’s ridiculous start. He has 83 catches for 1,197 yards and eight touchdowns, definitely enough production to keep him quite elevated in our wide receiver rankings as the season draws to a close.

5. Troy Franklin, Oregon

Franklin has been remarkably consistent, and he jumps a spot in the wide receiver rankings this week. He is coming off a nine-catch, 128-yard outing against Oregon State in which he also scored a touchdown. It was Franklin’s 10th game this season finding the end zone.

The Oregon wideout will be a key figure in the Pac-12 Championship Game against Washington, a game that could well turn into a shootout. If it does, Franklin will be well-equipped to help Oregon outduel its opponent. Franklin has recorded 77 catches for 1,349 yards and 14 touchdowns this season.

6. Keon Coleman, Florida State

Coleman slides a spot in the rankings after turning in his second-quietest outing of the season. He finished the game against Florida with just one catch for 24 yards. Coleman has insane raw ability but has only topped five catches in a game three times this season.

The talented wideout will likely need to produce now more than ever if Florida State is going to make a playoff push without quarterback Jordan Travis. Coleman has contributed 46 catches for 639 yards and 11 touchdowns, and the ‘Noles need him at his best going forward.

7. Malik Washington, Virginia

One of the real volume kings at receiver this season, Washington turned in a season-high 14 catches for 115 yards in a loss to Virginia Tech. It was Washington’s fifth game this season with double-digit catches, though Virginia won only one of those games.

Washington now has 110 catches for 1,426 yards and nine touchdowns on the season. His catches are the most nationally, while his yardage total ranks second in the country.

8. Xavier Legette, South Carolina

The South Carolina receiver had a productive day in a loss to Clemson, recording six catches for 68 yards. It was the fourth straight game in which Legette had recorded at least six catches.

Legette’s production was solid and consistent throughout the season. He has recorded 71 catches for 1,255 yards and seven touchdowns. The first two figures put him near the national lead for receivers.

9. Brian Thomas, LSU

The LSU receiver found the end zone yet again in the regular season finale, keeping him in the lead nationally with 15 touchdowns on the season. Thomas went for five catches for 58 yards in the win.

While Thomas doesn’t have quite the yardage totals as some of his peers on this wide receiver ranking, he has the knack for the big play. He’s proven that time and time again this year en route to rolling up 60 catches for 1,079 yards and the 15 scores.

10. Xavier Worthy, Texas

For the first time in the last five games, Worthy managed to find the end zone for the Longhorns, ending a four-game drought. He finished the evening with four catches for 49 yards and the score against Texas Tech.

Like Coleman, Worthy is a player who has immense big-play potential. When he gets the chance to shine he often snags it. So far this season Worthy has piled up 67 catches for 883 yards and five touchdowns.
