Updated 2024 On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings

As the calendar flips to August, the On3 Industry Team Rankings continue to fluctuate with the 2024 college football season on the horizon.
The month of July witnessed big recruiting wins for Florida State, Tennessee and Auburn. Georgia, Ohio State and Alabama maintain the top three spots, while 11 SEC schools are featured in the On3 Team Recruiting Rankings top 25.
In order to create the most comprehensive and unbiased team recruiting ranking, the On3 Team Recruiting Rankings is solely based on the On3 Industry Ranking. The On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings is the most advanced and accurate team ranking in the industry.
The top 25 teams in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings can be found below.
1. Georgia — 94.497
3 five-stars | 17 four-stars | 6 three-stars | 26 total commits
Top Commit: Buford (Ga.) Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Dylan Raiola, No. 2 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
The Bulldogs lost Clanton (Ala.) Chilton County five-star linebacker Demarcus Riddick in a flip to Auburn, but still hold the top spot in the rankings. Georgia countered the loss of Riddick by adding Fairfax (Va.) four-star LB Kris Jones as its latest commit.
Georgia brought in the nation’s No. 2 prospect in May after landing a commitment from elite Buford (Ga.) quarterback Dylan Raiola. Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy five-star cornerback Ellis Robinson IV, Raymore (Mo.) Raymore-Peculiar four-star tight end Jaden Reddell and Conroe (Texa) Oak Ridge four-star defensive lineman Joseph Jonah-Ajonye complete Georgia’s group of top-50 commits.
2. Ohio State — 93.35
3 five-stars | 12 four-stars | 4 three-stars | 19 total commits
Top Commit: Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep Five-Star Plus+ wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, No. 1 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
The Buckeyes capped off July with their third blue-chip commit of the month in top-50 Springfield (Ohio) cornerback Aaron Scott Jr. He followed Chicago St. Ignatius five-star defensive lineman Justin Scott and Chandler (Ariz.) Basha four-star cornerback Miles Lockhart.
Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep receiver Jeremiah Smith and New Haven (Ind.) wide receiver Mylan Graham join Justin Scott in headlining the class as OSU’s three five-stars. Langston Hughes four-star quarterback Air Noland, Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville cornerback Bryce West and San Antonio (Texas) Veterans Memorial running back James Peoples round out Ohio State’s top-100 commits.
3. Florida — 92.358
2 five-stars | 13 four-stars | 6 three-stars | 21 total commits
Top Commit: McKinney (Texas) five-star safety Xavier Filsaime, No. 28 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
It has been an awfully busy two months on the recruiting trail for Billy Napier’s staff at Florida. After pulling in double-digit commitments in June, four more recruits have pledged to the Gators in the month of July.
Leesburg (Va.) Tuscarora four-star offensive tackle Fletcher Westphal, Fort Myers (Fla.) Dunbar four-star wide receiver Tawaski Abrams, Gainesville (Fla.) F. W. Buchholz four-star defensive lineman Kendall Jackson and Sarasota (Fla.) Cardinal Mooney three-star cornerback Teddy Foster all joined the Gators this month.
4. Alabama — 91.954
2 five-stars | 8 four-star | 4 three-stars | 14 total commits
Top Commit: Carlsbad (Calif.) Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Julian Sayin, No. 4 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
Like Georgia, the Crimson Tide lost out on a five-star prospect in a flip to Auburn, as Foley (Ala.) wide receiver Perry Thompson opted for the Plains instead of Tuscaloosa. Despite that, Alabama still has two top five-stars in Carlsbad (Calif.) Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Julian Sayin and Pinson (Ala.) Clay-Chalkville five-star athlete Jaylen Mbakwe.
In July, the Tide have received six commitments. Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei top-100 four-star cornerback Zabien Brown is the highest-rated of those three. Carrollton (Ga.) four-star tight end Caleb Odom, Lindale (Texas) four-star interior offensive lineman Casey Poe, Tampa (Fla.) Catholic four-star cornerback Jameer Grimsley, Brookwood (Ala.) three-star IOL William Sanders and Munich (Germany) three-star linebacker Justin Okoronkwo also pledged to the Tide this month.
5. Florida State — 91.516
2 five-star | 9 four-stars | 8 three-stars | 20 total commits
Top Commit: Venice (Fla.) five-star cornerback Charles Lester III, No. 20 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
What a month it’s been for Mike Norvell and the Seminoles on the recruiting trail. A grand total of 10 prospects pledged to Florida State in July, none bigger than Venice (Fla.) five-star cornerback Charles Lester III. Lester joins Moultrie (Ga.) Colquitt County tight end Landen Thomas as five-stars in the class, which jumped from No. 13 all the way up to No. 5.
Pensacola (Fla.) Pine Forest four-star offensive tackle Jonathan Daniels, Tallahassee (Fla.) FSU School four-star athlete Micahi Danzy, Olney (Md.) Good Counsel four-star wide receiver Elijah Moore, D.C. Gonzaga four-star EDGE DD Holmes and Modesto (Calif.) Central Catholic four-star OT Manasse Itete are among those who have recently committed.
6. Tennessee — 91.467
1 five-star | 12 four-stars | 6 three-stars | 19 total commits
Top Commit: Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview five-star wide receiver Mike Matthews, No. 14 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
It has been a busy month of recruiting for Tennessee, propelling the Volunteers into the top 10. Of their 19 commits, seven rank inside the top 200 overall players of the On3 Industry Ranking.
Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview five-star receiver Mike Matthews, Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban four-star interior offensive lineman William Satterwhite and Nashville Lipscomb Academy four-star linebacker Edwin Spillman all pledged to Tennessee in July. The latest addition of Sugar Land (Texas) Fort Bend Christian four-star offensive tackle Bennett Warren helped the Vols move all the way up to No. 6.
8. Clemson — 91.420
2 five-stars | 8 four-stars | 7 three-stars | 17 total commits
Top Commit: Midlothian (Texas) five-star wide receiver Bryant Wesco, No. 17 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
Clemson pulled both of its five-star recruits on consecutive days in the month of June. Jefferson (Ga.) five-star linebacker Sammy Brown kicked things off for the Tigers before being followed up by Midlothian (Texas) receiver Bryant Wesco.
The class also includes top-100 Lancaster (Texas) four-star cornerback Corian Gipson — the Tigers’ latest commit. Additionally, Woodstock (Ill.) Marian Central Catholic four-star tight end Christian Bentancur and Tampa (Fla.) Catholic four-star receiver TJ Moore.
8. Michigan — 91.410
0 five-stars | 17 four-stars | 9 three-stars | 26 total commits
Top Commit: Cincinnati (Ohio) Archbishop Moeller four-star running back Jordan Marshall, No. 56 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
Michigan lost out on top-50 Springfield (Ohio) cornerback Aaron Scott Jr to Ohio State, but the Wolverines still possess a top-10 class. Of Michigan’s 26 commits, 17 are four-star recruits. Deerfield Beach (Fla.) four-star EDGE Elias Rudolph and Cheshire (Conn.) four-star EDGE Jacob Smith both pledged to the Wolverines in July.
Cincinnati (Ohio) Archbishop Moeller four-star running back Jordan Marshall headlines Michigan’s class. Marshall chose the Wolverines over in-state Ohio State. Michigan’s two other top-100 recruits are Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day four-star quarterback Jadyn Davis and Rochester (Mich.) Adams four-star tight end Brady Prieskorn.
9. Penn State — 91.280
0 five-stars | 15 four-stars | 9 three-stars | 24 total commits
Top Commit: Belle Vernon (Pa.) four-star athlete Quinton Martin, No. 43 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
Penn State reeled in a pair of four-star recruits towards the end of July. On consecutive days, the Nittany Lions received pledges from Brookline (Mass.) Dexter four-star athlete Liam Andrews and Miami (Fla.) Central four-star defensive lineman T.A. Cunningham. Andrews said he plans to play defensive line in college.
Andrews, Quinton Martin and Westford (Mass.) Cheshire Academy four-star tight end Luke Reynolds make up the Nittany Lions’ three top-100 recruits.
10. USC — 91.082
0 five-stars | 11 four-stars | 5 three-stars | 16 total commits
Top Commit: Los Angeles (Calif.) Sierra Canyon four-star wide receiver Xavier Jordan, No. 79 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
USC lost the commitment of Modesto (Calif.) Central Catholic four-star OT Manasse Itete to Florida State, but the Trojans still maintain a top-10 class through a quiet July. The Trojans’ last commitment came on the first of the month with Landisville (Pa.) Hempfield three-star defensive lineman Deyvid Palepale.
Xavier Jordan headlines the class, while Long Beach (Calif.) Millikan four-star wide receiver Ryan Pellum, Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco four-star cornerback Marcelles Williams and Gardena (Calif.) Junipero Serra four-star cornerback Dakoda Fields round out the top-100 in the Trojans’ class.
11. Notre Dame — 91.069
0 five-stars | 13 four-stars | 9 three-stars | 22 total commits
Top Commit: Glen Ellyn (Ill.) Glenbard South four-star wide receiver Cam Williams, No. 36 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
Notre Dame reeled in Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco four-star linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa over Ohio State and USC as one of only two commits in July, along with Palma three-star WR Logan Saldate. Viliamu-Asa is the third highest-ranked commit in the Fighting Irish’s class, behind Glen Ellyn (Ill.) Glenbard South four-star wide receiver Cam Williams and Saline (Mich.) four-star quarterback CJ Carr.
Notre Dame had five commits in June, highlighted by Fort Wayne (Ind.) four-star athlete Tae Johnson and Lufkin (Texas) four-star running back Kedren Young.
12. Texas A&M — 91.058
1 five-star | 10 four-stars | 7 three-stars | 18 total commit
Top Commit: Phenix City (Ala.) Central five-star wide receiver Cam Coleman, No. 13 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
Cam Coleman is one of five top-150 recruits to commit to Texas A&M in the 2024 cycle. The list includes Longview (Texas) Pine Tree four-star defensive lineman Dealyn Evans, Silsbee (Texas) four-star wide receiver Dre’lon Miller, Beaumont (Texas) United four-star offensive tackle Weston Davis and Blountstown (Fla.) four-star safety Jordan Pride.
Converse (Texas) Judson four-star safety Myles Davis, Camden (N.J.) Winslow three-star WR Jaylan Hornsby and Refugio (Texas) three-star WR Ernest Campbell joined Coleman as July commits.
13. LSU — 90.998
0 five-stars | 14 four-stars | 8 three-stars | 22 total commits
Top Commit: Jackson (La.) East Feliciana four-star tight end Trey’Dez Green, No. 72 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
LSU added six commitments in July, including Orlando Edgewater four-star cornerback Cai Bates and Many (La.) four-star linebacker Tylen Singelton, the second and fourth highest-ranked commits in the class, respectively.
Singleton joins Jackson (La.) East Feliciana four-star tight end Trey’Dez Green and Denham Springs (La.) safety Dashawn McBryde as Brian Kelly‘s top in-state recruits. 68% of LSU’s class comes from Louisiana.
14. Oregon — 90.820
0 five-stars | 12 four-stars | 8 three-stars | 20 total commits
Top Commit: Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances Academy four-star cornerback Ify Obidegwu, No. 124 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
The commitments of Long Beach (Calif.) Poly four-star linebacker Dylan Williams, Los Angeles (Calif.) Los Alamitos four-star linebacker Kamar Mothudi and Pinson (Ala.) Clay-Chalkville four-star offensive tackle Jac’Qawn McRoy have made for a flashy July for the Ducks. Oregon’s class is headlined by Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances Academy top-150 four-star cornerback Ify Obidegwu.

15. Auburn — 90.727

Top Commit: Foley (Ala.) wide receiver Perry Thompson, No. 29 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
Auburn managed to flip a pair of five-star recruits from its two biggest rivals in the span of three days, adding Clanton (Ala.) Chilton County five-star linebacker Demarcus Riddick from Georgia, then Foley (Ala.) wide receiver Perry Thompson from Alabama. The Tigers collected six of their 14 commits in July.
Tuskegee (Ala.) Booker T Washington four-star LB Joseph Phillips, Little Rock (Ark.) four-star quarterback Walker White and Lilburn (Ga.) four-star cornerback Jalyn Crawford round out the rest of Auburn’s top-200 recruits. The Tigers’ average rating per commit of 90.78 is the fourth-best mark in the nation.
16. Oklahoma — 90.288

Top Commit: Longview (Texas) four-star running back Taylor Tatum, No. 35 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
Brent Venables’ Oklahoma staff has thus far built a class that consists of six top-300 prospects in Taylor Tatum, Missouri City (Texas) Hightower four-star receiver Zion Kearney, Los Alamitos (Calif.) top-100 tight end Davon Mitchell, Lewisville (Texas) four-star safety Jaydan Hardy, Odessa (Texas) four-star wide receiver Ivan Carreon and Gray (Ga.) Jones County four-star receiver Zion Ragins.
17. Arkansas — 89.680
0 five-stars | 8 four-stars | 8 three-stars | 16 total commits
Top Commit: Temple (Texas) Lake Belton four-star cornerback Selman Bridges, No. 76 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
Missouri City (Texas) Ridge Point top-150 wide receiver Ashton Bethel-Roman bolstered the Razorbacks’ class on the Fourth of July. Pine Bluff (Ark.) Selman Bridges, Wilbur D. Mills four-star defensive lineman Charleston Collins and Pine Bluff (Ark.) four-star athlete Courtney Crutchfield lead the way for the Hogs as top-150 commits.
18. Miami — 89.671

Top Commit: Miami (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep four-star wide receiver Joshisa Trader, No. 34 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
Miami’s recruiting win over Ohio State in the battle for Chicago Kenwood Academy four-star EDGE Marquise Lightfoot jumped the Hurricanes into the top 25 at the start of July. Lightfoot was the third top-150 recruit to join Miami’s class after Northport (Ala.) Tuscaloosa County four-star running back Kevin Riley and Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas four-star wide receiver Chance Robinson.
Since then, the Hurricanes added elite top-50 Miami (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep wide receiver Joshisa Trader and Blountstown (Fla.) four-star defensive lineman Artavius Jones.
19. Texas — 89.511

Top Commit: Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy four-star running back Jerrick Gibson, No. 63 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
After getting off to a relatively slow start in the 2024 cycle, Steve Sarkisian’s staff has been on a tear on the recruiting trail. Thirteen of Texas’ 15 commits have pledged since the start of June, including Jerrick Gibson.
Orlando (Fla.) Jones three-star defensive lineman D’antre Robinson is the most recent to pledge to the Longhorns. Daingerfield (Texas) four-star receiver Aeryn Hampton joins Gibson at the top of the class after initially decommitting last year.
20. South Carolina — 89.451

Top Commit: Dillon (S.C.) four-star offensive tackle, Josiah Thompson, No. 47 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
Shane Beamer and company have once again begun putting together an impressive class in Columbia. The Gamecocks are in the mix for a number of top prospects and have already received commitments from a pair of top-100 recruits in Dillon (S.C.) four-star offensive tackle Josiah Thompson and Dorchester (S.C.) Woodland four-star offensive tackle Kam Pringle.
Pringle, Savannah (Ga.) Calvary Day four-star tight end Michael Smith and Marietta (Ga.) Walton four-star EDGE Wendell Gregory all joined the class in January, giving South Carolina an electric start to the 2024 cycle.
21. Nebraska — 89.005

Top Commit: Ainsworth (Neb.) four-star tight end Carter Nelson, No. 58 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
The commitment of four-star tight end Carter Nelson was the news of the month of June for Huskers fans. Matt Rhule has put together an already large class through mid-July in what has been his first cycle as head coach in Lincoln.
Waipahu (Hawaii) top-300 four-star interior offensive lineman Preston Taumua is the latest recruit to commit to Nebraska.
22. Stanford — 88.722
0 five-stars | 6 four-stars | 22 three-stars | 28 total commits
Top Commit: Avon (Conn.) Old Farms four-star defensive lineman Benedict Umeh, No. 78 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
Stanford’s class has no shortage of commits, to say the least. The Cardinal have already secured pledges from 28 recruits in the 2024 class, including top-100 defensive lineman Benedict Umeh.
Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei top-150 quarterback Elijah Brown committed to Stanford in mid-June along with 22 more of Stanford’s 28 commits. The ridiculous month of June launched Stanford into the top-25 after finishing No. 42 in the 2023 On3 Industry Team Rankings.
23. Wisconsin — 88.694
0 five-stars | 4 four-stars | 16 three-stars | 20 total commits
Top Commit: Olney (Md.) Good Counsel four-star running back Dilin Jones, No. 185 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
Luke Fickell’s first full cycle so far has Wisconsin sitting in the top 25 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. Royersford (Pa.) Pope John Paul II four-star offensive tackle Kevin Heywood committed in June.
Six recruits have pledged to the Badgers in July: Saint Paul (Minn.) Irondale four-star interior offensive lineman Emerson Mandell, Chicago (Ill.) Mount Carmel three-star running back Darrion Dupree, Philadelphia (Pa.) St. Joseph’s Prep three-star cornerback Omillio Agard, Honolulu (Hawaii) Farrington three-star EDGE Anelu Lafaele, Joilet (Ill.) Catholic three-star defensive lineman Dillan Johnson and the class’ top recruit Dilin Jones.
24. Texas Tech — 88.509

Top Commit: Sachse (Texas) four-star EDGE Cheta Ofili, No. 143 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
Cheta Ofili sits atop the Red Raiders’ 2024 group after committing in April. Prosper (Texas) four-star offensive tackle Ellis Davis, Hutto (Texas) four-star quarterback Will Hammond and Pflugerville (Texas) Weiss four-star safety Peyton Morgan bolster Texas Tech’s No. 1 Big 12 class. The Red Raiders also continue to zone in on the recruitment of top-10 Temple (Texas) Lake Belton wide receiver Micah Hudson.
25. North Carolina — 88.303
0 five-stars | 4 four-stars | 20 three-stars | 25 total commits
Top Commit: Fuquay Varina (N.C.) four-star safety Malcom Ziglar, No. 161 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
North Carolina added five commitments in July, headlined by Fuquay Varina (N.C.) four-star safety Malcom Ziglar, Greensboro (N.C.) Grimsley four-star wide receiver Alex Taylor, Charlotte Providence Day three-star WR Jordan Shipp and Buford (Ga.) three-star cornerback TyShun White. 12 of UNC’s 25 commits have pledged since June, shooting the class up to fourth in the ACC.
