These players will join John Calipari at SEC Media Days
The college basketball season is right around the corner, and SEC Media Days will kick off next week in Birmingham, Alabama.
Arkansas head coach John Calipari is going into his second season with the program and will bring two returners with him to media days in redshirt senior forward Trevon Brazile and junior guard D.J. Wagner.
Caliparia and the Razorbacks will take the stage on Tuesday, Oct. 14 from roughly 1:30 to 2 p.m. CT.
Brazile is heading into his fourth season at Arkansas and is looking to build off a strong finish to last season. He scored in double figures in seven of the final nine games of the season and had four double-doubles in that span.
Wagner was thrust into the point guard role due a hand injury that Boogie Fland sustained last year and averaged 11.2 points per game on 40.1% shooting from the field.
That scoring number jumped to 13.5 points per game in the final seven games of the season, with the high being 24 points in the regular-season finale against Mississippi State.
The Razorbacks will start the season with two exhibitions against Cincinnati (Oct. 24) at home and at Memphis (Oct. 27) before the regular season starts on Nov. 3 against the Southern Jaguars.
