A’mon Lane, a 4-star, 5-foot-10 180 pound, defensive back from Moody (Ala.), was Auburn football‘s first commitment of the 2024 class. He pledged to the Tigers on July 30, 2022.

Nearly a year later, Lane has a message for Auburn fans via Twitter.

I want to thank all the coaches who have poured time into me and my family. I am beyond grateful and blessed for all the opportunities that God has given me. I’m officially shutting down my recruitment and I will be taking one official visit to Auburn in December! WAR EAGLE

Lane is the No. 295 overall player in the country, the No. 32 corner in the country, and the No. 16 player in the state of Alabama according to the On3 Industry Rankings.

While he is projected as a corner, Auburn seems to like Lane as a nickel as well as corner.
