Auburn has found itself in yet another top schools graphic. This time it was for south Florida native William Fowles. Fowles was offered by Auburn in February and has been recruited by the Tigers since then. He had a heavy Florida flavor in his top schools, but the need at the WR position continues to grab the attention of top WR prospects

Fowles has not yet been to campus at Auburn this year, but a visit could be in the works.

The Fowles File

Fowles is a 6-foot-2 190-pound WR from Dade Christian School in Hialeah, Florida. He learned of his Auburn offer during a conversation with Auburn area recruiter Roc Bellantoni. Fowles added Auburn to his offer list that already included Miami, Texas A&M, UCF, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Louisville and Ole Miss, among others.

In nine games as a junior he had 36 receptions for 807 yards and nine touchdowns. While a 3-star recruit, the big-bodied receiver has plenty of interest from some notable schools.

The top eight

Auburn is a member of Fowles’ top 8 after just two months of having an offer. Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Florida State, USF, Florida, and Michigan State. This is interesting as UCF is the RPM leader. He has visited there often due to being closer to his home.

As of right now, Auburn continues to communicate with the talented WR and sees him as a top WR prospect.
