Class of 2025 four-star tight end Ryan Ghea has committed to Auburn football.

Ghea, who attends Milton High School in Alpharetta, Ga., announced his decision Sunday on social media. He chose Auburn over offers from Miami, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Florida State, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Clemson, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt, among many others.

Ghea’s decision comes less than a week after his latest visit to the Plains. He and his family visited Auburn on Tuesday, Nov. 7.

“The visit went great,” he said. “I enjoyed my time with the staff and the players. I met with Coach (Hugh) Freeze for about 20 minutes and I was with (tight ends) Coach (Ben) Aigamaua all day.”

Ghea is developing strong bonds with both coaches.

“I like both of them,” he said. “I’ve been building my relationships with both for a long time.”

Ghea familiar with Auburn

The visit was the sixth visit to Auburn this calendar year. He also was on campus in January, March, April and twice in September. Needless to say, he’s very familiar with Auburn.

Ghea also likes what he has seen out of the Tigers’ offense under Freeze, as well as the proximity to home. They’re two of the bigger reasons he chose Auburn, but not the only ones.

“Definitely the way they use their tight ends and how they develop you and make you the best you can be,” he said. “And the education, closeness to home and the relationships I have with the staff.”

Ghea’s commitment to Auburn on Sunday makes three straight days the Tigers have received a commitment. Laquan Robinson, the No. 1 junior college safety, committed on Friday. Four-star edge Jamonta Waller flipped his commitment from Florida to Auburn on Saturday.

Ghea is the sixth commitment in the Tigers’ ’25 class. He joins four-star defensive back Kendarius Reddick, four-star outside linebacker Jakaleb Faulk, four-star defensive lineman Jourdin Crawford, three-star defensive lineman Malik Autry and three-star offensive lineman Spencer Dowland.

Ghea is listed at 6-foot-5 and 231 pounds. In nine games this season, he has 19 receptions for 135 yards and two touchdowns. Last season as a sophomore, he had 11 catches for 177 yards and a score.

The On3 Industry Ranking, which is a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, ranks Ghea the No. 16 tight end in the ’25 class. He also ranks the Non. 268 overall recruit in the country and No. 31 in Georgia.
