South Florida wide receiver Camden Brown has committed to Auburn.

Brown, from St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderale, announced his decision Wednesday on Twitter.

Brown chose Auburn over Georgia, Florida State, South Carolina and Pittsburgh.

“I like everything that’s going on at Auburn,” Brown said.

Recent AU visit played a big factor

Brown camped at Auburn in the summer and earned an offer. He then returned earlier this mont for an official visit.

The official visit was a turning point in his recruitment.

“The visit was great,” Brown said. “I got a lot of attention.”

Particularly from wide receivers coach Eric Kiesau.

“I like Coach Kiesau,” Brown said. “He’s always a cool vibe, laid back and chill. He really, really knows what he’s doing. He was talking about the receivers that would be leaving and that really stood out to me.”

Brown is Auburn’s 18th commitment in the 2022 class and third of the day, joining four-star linebacker Robert Woodyard and junior college cornerback Keionte Scott.
