New Florida State CB commit Jamari Howard among big risers in new On3 rankings
An updated version of On3’s 2024 recruiting rankings were released on Monday, and four-star Florida State cornerback commit Jamari Howard was one of the biggest risers.
Previously, Howard was listed as the 139th-best player in the 2024 class. He has moved 41 spots into the top 100 to 98th.
Howard committed to Florida State one day before the Miami game on Nov. 11. With his movement in the rankings, Florida State now has three top-100 players in its 2024 secondary signing class.
KJ Bolden is rated the nation’s No. 1 safety and No. 16 recruit overall. Charles Lester is the No. 4 cornerback and No. 46 prospect overall, according to the latest rankings.
Florida State flip target also moves up in rankings
Five-star defensive lineman and Florida commit LJ McCray also moved up in the On3 rankings, soaring all the way up to No. 3 in the country. On3 has McCray rated higher than any other site in the industry and was also the first site to rank McCray as a five-star.
The Daytona Mainland standout did commit to Florida just two weeks after FSU got his last official visit. However, McCray has not stopped taking visits.
He was at Florida State last weekend for the Miami game, and the Seminoles seem to have found new momentum in his recruitment.
