Kansas State Head Coach Collin Klein has added Christian Ellsworth to his coaching staff in Manhattan. Ellsworth will be in charge of the quarterbacks.

Ellsworth first worked with Klein as a grad assistant from 2020-2021 at K-State. Then he spent one season under Shane Beamer at South Carolina. In 2023 he became an offensive analyst at Nebraska, and took the same role at Texas A&M when Klein was hired as the offensive coordinator for the 2024 season. This year marked his first year as a position coach, when he was promoted to tight ends coach.

The relationship for the two started in 2016, during Klein’s lone season as the quarterbacks coach at Northern Iowa before taking that job at K-State. Ellsworth was a freshman quarterback on the 2016 Panthers team and played at UNI through 2019.

During his time coaching at K-State, Ellsworth earned a master’s degree from Kansas State. Ellsworth is a Grand Island, Nebraska native.
