Ellsworth first worked with Klein as a grad assistant from 2020-2021 at K-State. Then he spent one season under Shane Beamer at South Carolina. In 2023 he became an offensive analyst at Nebraska, and took the same role at Texas A&M when Klein was hired as the offensive coordinator for the 2024 season. This year marked his first year as a position coach, when he was promoted to tight ends coach.
