SEC football fans now have more clarity on the status of their respective rosters ahead of Saturdays in the fall. The league instituted a new policy in 2024 that requires schools to submit official availability reports.

Each Wednesday of SEC contests, both schools will share an availability report. It will be updated nightly, with one final ruling an hour before kickoff on Saturdays. Players must be listed as out (0% chance to play), doubtful (25% chance to play), questionable (50% chance to play), or probable (75% chance to play).

Kentucky is dealing with numerous injuries after a very physical game in Week 10.

Kentucky availability report

  • WR Troy Stellato: Out
  • RB Jamarion Wilcox: Out
  • OLB Jacob Smith: Out
  • LB Devin Smith: Out
  • DL Nic Smith: Out
  • WR David Washington Jr.: Out
  • TE Elijah Brown: Out
  • CB DJ Waller Jr.: Doubtful
  • CB Terhyon Nichols: Doubtful
  • OL Aba Selm: Doubtful
  • WR Ja’Mori Maclin: Questionable
  • LB Landyn Watson: Questionable
  • RB Seth McGowan: Probable

It looks like cornerbacks DJ Waller Jr. and Terhyon Nichols will be out on Saturday. This means that junior Nasir Addison or true freshman Grant Grayton could be in line to start against Auburn’s talented wide receiver unit. Meanwhile, wideout Troy Stellato will also miss another game while Ja’Mori Maclin and Landyn Watson both popped up on the availability report this week. Seth McGowan is trending in the right direction.

Auburn availability report

  • WR Horatio Fields: Out
  • OL Connor Lew: Out
  • WR Malcolm Simmons: Questionable
  • WR Cam Coleman: Questionable
  • K Connor Gibbs: Questionable
  • DL Jourdin Crawford: Questionable

Auburn recently lost starting center Connor Lew to a season-long injury. The biggest development on the first availability report is what could be missing at wide receiver. Cam Coleman (32 receptions, 440 yards) has been Auburn’s best offensive player this season. Malcolm Simmons is also involved in the offense. The Tigers could be without 3 of their top 4 wideouts after losing Horatio Fields to injury earlier this year.
