WATCH: Justin Edwards practice highlights

Aaron Bradshaw, DJ Wagner, and Rob Dillingham have consumed much of the preseason water cooler talk (or wherever people commonly discuss the ‘Cats in a post-covid world where public drinking sources went away and office jobs went remote). Rightfully so, I might add. However, Justin Edwards might prove to be the most talented of them all.
Edwards, a 6’7″ small forward, is the second-best player in the 2023 class according to On3’s industry ranking. ESPN projects him to be the No. 5 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, and lowly bloggers predict he will be the MVP of the upcoming GLOBL Jam competition in Canada.

In preparation for their international trip, Kentucky has been hitting the gym. On Saturday, the team took us behind the doors of the Craft Center, showcasing the type of versatility and scoring ability Edwards possesses and shows off in practice.
In the highlight real, we see Edwards coming up with a steal, knocking down back-to-back 3s, hitting a tough floater in the lane off the dribble, dunking a nice pass from Adout Thierro on a backdoor cut, and coming up with some tough rebounds.
I don’t know what it is about left-handers, but everything they do just looks so smooth.
