Three Sooners were invited to the NFL Combine, it was announced Tuesday.

Right tackle Tyler Guyton, center Andrew Raym and left tackle Walter Rouse all received invites to participate in the combine, which will take place in Indianapolis from Feb. 26 through March 4. All three were starters on OU’s offensive line last season.

Among the three, Guyton is expected to go the highest. He’s currently projected as a first-round pick, possibly in the top 10. At 6-foot-7, 327 pounds and a former tight end, he’s expected to perform well at the combine and likely improve his stock.

Raym had been OU’s starting center the past three seasons, making 29 starts. He had an impressive week at the Senior Bowl that could make him a late Day 2 or early Day 3 pick in the draft.

And Rouse was a steadying force for the Sooners this past season. He started all 13 games at left tackle after transferring to OU from Stanford. Rouse did not receive a Senior Bowl invite, but did have an impressive showing at the Shrine Bowl.

“Bill Bedenbaugh allowed me to see the game in a way I’ve never seen before,” said Rouse to SoonerScoop in an exclusive interview last month.

One player who didn’t receive a combine invite is Sooners’ leading receiver Drake Stoops. In 2023, Stoops was first-team All-Big 12, totaling 84 receptions, 962 yards and 10 touchdowns. Stoops also did not receive a Senior Bowl invite. But Stoops will still have an opportunity to showcase his skill at OU Pro Day, sometime next month.

Last year, OU had seven players receive invites to the combine: RB Eric Gray, OL Anton Harrison, WR Marvin Mims Jr., OL Wanya Morris, DL Jalen Redmond, P Michael Turk, and TE Brayden Willis. Oklahoma’s three invites this year is the lowest since 2017. That year was RB Samaje Perine, WR Dede Westbrook and DL Charles Walker were invited.
