Four-Star DT Maxwell Roy Names Top Six
Oregon’s national approach to recruiting continues to the state of New Jersey. It’s not Oregon’s usual stomping grounds but the Ducks find themselves in the top six for a four-star defensive tackle early in the recruiting process.
St. Joseph’s (N.J.) defensive lineman Maxwell Roy listed his top six which includes: Oregon, Duke, Michigan, Ohio State, Rutgers and Wisconsin. The 6-foot-3, 290-pounder is the No. 145 overall player in the On3 Industry Rankings. He is the No. 17 ranked defensive lineman in the country.

Oregon: “Definitely the ability to produce linemen. I believe the coaching staff is great at developing linemen. Great relationships I’ve been able to build with them.”
Have you visited Oregon yet?
“No, but hopefully soon I can see it.”
The Ducks have one defensive line commit already in the 2025 class. Last week Oregon added De La Salle (Calif.) defensive lineman Matthew Johnson. Johnson had recently visited Oregon prior to his commitment.
