Cedric Baxter Jr. elevated to On300 five-star
Cedric Baxter Jr. has been elevated to a 5-star in the latest update in the On300 rankings for the 2023 cycle.

The 6-foot-1.5, 213-pound patient, powerful and determined back makes the move to 5-star after an ultra impressive start to the 2022 season. The Sunshine State star has rushed for more than 225 yards in three of the first four games against quality competition. That includes 245 yards and two touchdowns in a hard fought 14-13 win over a talented Jones High team Friday night.
Inside Texas took a look at Baxterâs tremendous start to the season Saturday.
The Longhorns verbal has made a number of highlight reel runs this season, including a score against West Orange High that flashed his overall skill set.

Baxter made an unofficial visit to Texas over the weekend to take in the Texas 41-20 win over Texas-San Antonio. He spoke with Inside Texas Sunday about the amazing atmosphere.
Baxter was already ranked as the No. 1 running back in the 2023 cycle by On3 prior to the ranking update. He continues to hold down the top spot at the position.
