Seventeen players on the Longhorns’ 2024 schedule, the program’s first as a member of the Southeastern Conference, also made On3’s top 100.

Kelvin Banks, OT, Texas

Ranking: No. 3

Brooks on Banks: “On3’s OT1 from the 2022 recruiting class is on track to be OT1 for the 2025 NFL Draft. He’s one of college football’s premier pass blockers, and his 98.9% pass block win percentage is the best of all returning Core 4 tackles.”

Inside Texas: Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy said it best during Banks’ freshman year in 2022: “Good news, he won’t be there but three years. He’ll be gone.”

Quinn Ewers, QB, Texas

Ranking: No. 12

Brooks on Ewers: “Quinn Ewers is one of college football’s chief offensive executives. Deadly off play action and carving up opponents in the midrange, he can fire passes from a bevy of platforms and use a variety of speeds to find his targets downfield.”

Inside Texas: The EA Sports College Football 25 cover athlete is one of the most recognizable faces in the sport and has the steadily improving game to go along with it. Ranked as the No. 2 quarterback in the country behind Carson Beck, Ewers will find himself in the middle of Heisman talk as long as he leads the Longhorns to offensive successes.

Isaiah Bond, WR, Texas

Ranking: No. 54

Inside Texas: A newcomer to the Forty Acres, Bond showed his big play ability during the Spring game on a long touchdown catch and run. While Jalen Milroe had a rocket arm that helped Bond be a major downfield target for Alabama, other opportunities were limited by Milroe using his athleticism to take the yards available. Bond will be asked to continue to threaten deep coverages but has a chance to prove to be a reliable target 15 yards and in.

Trey Moore, EDGE, Texas

Ranking: No. 73

Inside Texas: Moore is one of two Group of Five transfers to join the Longhorns during the two transfer windows. He helped UTSA to a strong 2022 season then a fantastic 2023 year in the American Athletic Conference where he earned the league’s defensive player of the year award. The Longhorns are hoping Moore can replicate his 17.5 TFL, 14.0 sack season at the SEC level.

Jake Majors, C, Texas

Ranking: No. 85

Inside Texas: Majors is entering his fifth season in the program and has been a mainstay in the middle of the offensive line since the end of 2020. A veteran among other returning veterans on the O-line, Texas has a plus athlete at center who can screen off some of the sport’s larger players with unique agility at 6-foot-3 and 315 pounds.
